Welcome to my schizophrenic website!

I didn’t know if I wanted a blog about my recipes, my love of crafting with my kids, my life as a SAHM, or do reviews. SO…I did it all!

MY BLOGS ARE PR FRIENDLY & UPDATED WEEKLY, usually on weekends. You will find everything here from monthly giveaway’s and recipes, to crafts and product/activity reviews.

My name is Dinell a.k.a Mommy D, and I am a Stay At Home Mom. My husband Patrick and I live in Colorado Springs with our two children. Davis is 3 and Audra is 1. Our family also includes a dog named Kona, two cats named Cleo and Ramses, and three gerbils named Pepper, Spaz, and Oscar.

I have many interests, some or most of which you may read about as this place grows. I love animals, anything to do with the outdoors. I am totally a tomboy. I grew up on a farm in the country and even though I don’t live there anymore I am a country girl at heart. I also love makeup and jewelry. So yes, I will go catch frogs and climb trees and I will look damn good doing it!

You will also learn that I love to bake and cook. I will be sharing recipes and tips with you. I love cooking but baking is an obsession. I make no sugar treats, but I offer the full sugar versions of my recipes too. I love to do crafts of all kinds and I love doing them with my son. I will be sharing some of those types of things with you too. Some other things you should know if you are still reading. I am a tattooed, caffeine addicted, slightly potty mouthed, smart ass. Just Sayin!

Just found your website via twitter, you followed me and now I'm following you. I was reading your Bio and learned that I am moving in less than a year to where you are. So not to be creapy or anything but I would love to learn as much as possible about the area. I am enjoying looking around your blog.

Thanks for following :) I think you will love CS. Very large military community, but I'm sure you already know that :) It's just the right mix of small town and city. I moved to CO from a TINY town. I grew up on a farm. I was afraid to leave that small town life. But CS has that feel. The people are very nice and its really VERY pretty here with the Mountains and Pike Peak.
